FUE is a follicular unit extraction method where follicular units are directly harvested from the donor area without the need for a linear incision. In the FUE technique, circular incisions are made around the follicles using specially designed punches for hair transplantation. Thanks to the FUE technique, minimal scarring occurs in the operation area, and the patient is not affected by these scars in their social life. Small modifications can be made to the FUE technique, considering surgical variables such as the structure of the patient's scalp, the structure and density of the follicular units, and the depth of the follicles.
